ritual, or spintale?

I don't know why people are so judgmental and subjective sometimes. Let's just take the recent money losing incident that has been happening in our class. Few days ago, X lost her money that she had left in her wallet and today, Y also lost some money, but compared to X's losses, it was way much lesser.

that's not the point. the point is: Why are people so readily pointing fingers at one another?

I could only come up with a few reasons:

1. He/She has a history or was rumored to have stolen something before.
However cliche that sounds, people nowadays are still judging others based on their ignorance and not because they find the person plain suspicious. I've spoken to quite a few classmates and they already have a list of who are their prime "suspects", and most of them are known to have a history of stealing. But is it fair to those people whom you've suspected just because they only stolen something once? For all you know, they may have turn over a new leaf. Let bygones be bygones. Aren't they taught a lesson already? Shouldn't you try and accept their past and live with who they are NOW and not what they were BEFORE?

2. He/She bear grudges with you and is seeking revenge.
Fair enough. But that doesn't give you the license to point fingers too. Heated arguments are bound to happen sometimes, but that doesn't mean the person has to get back at you by stealing your money. There are a hundred and one ways the person can get back at you. It's just a matter of CHOICE. And seriously I don't see the need for anyone to steal money as a form of revenge UNLESS the person is in need of money, which takes us to the next point:

3. He/She is in need of money and feels ashamed to seek help.
Possible, but lacks evidence. Yes, you may have heard of someone recently who is facing some financial problems and needs money, but do you know whether the problem is solved? Do you know whether he/she is still in need of money? Do you know whether he/she has gotten the money needed? All this may seem secondary to you, but it matters a lot to he/she and it will definitely change your point of view and divert your suspicion away from he/she IF the problem is already solved. Even if the problem is still there, it is unnecessary to start pointing fingers at that particular person. POINTING FINGERS IS TANTAMOUNT TO ACCUSING THE PERSON AND HAVING A LEVEL OF CERTAINTY IN YOUR SUSPICION.

I guess what all of us should do now is not to point fingers but to raise our own awareness of our surrounding and people and to always be on the lookout for actions that are deem suspicious.

Till now, it is still sort of unclear whether the money was really stolen, was it a prank, or was it just a hoax? At least someone saw that X had left the money in her wallet. but what about Y? There was no witness. Maybe all of us have been drawn into a never-ending spintale - like going around in circles. Nobody knows.

disappointment.

I have enough of your fucking nonsense, in fact, MORE THAN ENOUGH!
THIS IS TO MR-I'M-SO-UGLY-WHEN-YOU-PUT-THE-FIRST-INITIALS-OF-MY-FULL-NAME-TOGETHER-IT-SPELLS-FUGLY:

who do you really think you are? Don't think I will be afraid of you just because you're bigger sized than me. I am not at the very least affected by what you said, seriously. I just feel that I have my own rights to correct what you've bad-mouthed or slandered about me and in fact, turn the tables around and hit it right back at you, IN.YOUR.FACE!

so what's with all the chattering to your friends about me being scared timid that I don't even dare to talk in front of you? I think it's more like I don't wanna see your face. and save those freaking stares for your pig friends. Don't think just because you're diabolical(as least that's what I think) gives you the right to stare at me. Oh, and by the way, don't eat too much during recess. The last time I saw you at the canteen, you were ordering so much I thought you were hibernating for the rest of your life. I mean, don't you have a life? Poor thing, spending the rest of your life binging on food and staring at people. You could use some exercise though. And next time :

TALK TO THE HAND CAUSE THE EARS AIN'T LISTENING.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry peeps, just feel that I should stand up for my own rights. Had a bad day today. History test was a total debacle and oral wasn't any better. Do the math.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, I know I shouldn't be taking sides. But what I know better is that you shouldn't attacka person when he's down. And nobody, I mean NOBODY is not at fault. What really makes you think that she's entirely at fault and you guys are not? Technically I'm fine with both you-know-who now, thus this is more about YOU. What do you really mean by all because of one person? Don't you think it's too contradicting on your part? One side you're saying the clique is falling apart and the other you push the blame to that one particular person. What makes YOU think your actions are not spoiling the bonding between the clique? Don't you think your actions contrast with your motive, which is to reunite the clique? Think about it. And if you feel a slight pinch of guilt, even if it's just a little, I think deleting that post and an apology would be appropriate. Note that I'm not forcing you and that if you still insist that she's in the wrong, then do what you deem fit. I just don't want to see the castle of friendship that we took so long to build and stacked so high to fall into pieces.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't like today, period.

top 10 most irritating things to do.

As promised, here is the post for the Top 10 Most Irritating Things To Do. I don't really know whether it is in order but I think they're in order, since most of them are almost as irritating. Okay, here we go! (:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#10. Making the "sucking" noise to attract attention/call out to someone.

I don't know if you guys know what I mean but basically it's someone using their lips to make a sucking sound so that the person they're trying to get attention from notices them. For those who are still clueless, it's something like this :

yep, making the sucking sound with your lips "shaped" like that. I don't know about you guys but personally I think that by making that noise you're usually calling out to an animal. No offence but it gives people the impression that you're either desperate for kissing or you need lip exercise.

Puke-O-Meter :

#9. Blasting music through your wonderful phones.

Yeah, I know technology is so advanced now that your hand phone has speakers of a real radio but please, keep your music to yourself. Haven't you heard : "What's music to you may be noise to others." ? Maybe it's because of this people that we get a higher rate of crime. I mean, it's okay if you're blasting the music among a group of your friends. But in public? where everyone is suffering and trying their best to get some peace? Doubt so.I don't know, but it seems like you're flaunting whatever gadgets you possess. Face the fact, didn't your mommy or daddy bought it for you? *roll eyes*

Puke-O-Meter :

#8. Repeating some one's words using a high pitched voice.

Totally totally hate this. Firstly, we all know that most of us don't have a very soothing or nice voice. Let's face it. If you really had a voice of an angel's, you won't even be sitting in front of your computer lazing your ass away. So unless you have a talent for singing or even opera, don't try to act like a duck or a chicken on the brink of death. Talk to the hand, cause the ears ain't listening.

Puke-O-Meter :

#7. Belching (or "famously" known as burping).

Okay, I've belched before BUT when I was little. Now although I still belched, I do not do it right out in public like it was meant for the ears in the public. I mean, can't people try to belch without the "eheooeoeoe" sound ? Don't people have self-control ? I can understand if you're a children and is still clueless but here I'm talking about adults too! Are you trying to say that gracefulness is only practised in high class areas like a restaurant?

Puke-O-Meter :

#6. Wearing things that contrast against your facial expressions or your behaviour.

Okay, this is simple. What is the thing that comes to your mind when you see someone wearing a shirt saying : "Party Girl Of The Year" ? I'm guessing that your choices will about being loud, cheerful, party-material kinda girl. But what if I tell you that the person looks grumpy? Yep, that's what I saw. I'm guessing that the girl doesn't understand or know that the words on her shirt says. I mean, Party Girl looking Grumpy? You gotta be kiddin' me.

Puke-O-Meter :

#5. Showing -.-/=.=/-.-"/o.o/o.0/O.O faces in your messages or in msn.

If you're one of them, go reflect on your actions now. If you're the one who initiated a conversation first, then I think it would be apt for you to accept whatever I have to say graciously and not return it with any of the faces above or the like. And what is it supposed to mean anyway? The only thing I can only think of is the person is trying to say that your response was lame. Other than that, I don't know what they mean.

Puke-O-Meter :

#4. Cutting queues.

This has become a hobby for some of the people in school. And do you know what's the best part? They act as if they stood there long enough before I was born! Worse part is, they don't look a wee bit affected. What was I thinking? Of course they don't. They're not the one's who got cut in queue!

Puke-O-Meter :

#3. Acting like Mr/Ms Know-It-All.

Wooh! A personality that a few of the students in 4E2 possesses. I'm sure there's one in every class who tries to be a teacher's pet and act as though they are an encyclopedia who are bursting with knowledge within their minds and can't wait to answer the teacher's every question. Okay, that may be a little exaggerating but you get the point. Some of them are acting a little egoistic, and we know who they are. When you have too much ego, it's good to reduce it with some shock therapy!

Puke-O-Meter :

#2. Shaking your legs while sitting down.

Haha, damn obscene! One of the things I see either in the classroom or anywhere where seats are available. I mean, people get the point, you can multi-task. So stop shaking your legs like they have a life of their own! Especially girls. Boys look equally obscene though.

Puke-O-Meter :

Are you guys ready for number one ?

#1. Acting Cute.

and I'm sure I don't have to "refresh" your memory that cute people don't have to act cute to be cute. What's with those baby-voice talking and acting innocent? If you're pretty or handsome and you act cute then maybe it's not so disastrous. Not if you a whole bucket full of UGLY, not to say FAT too. Yep, happened in school. Seen it, feel it, never wanna talk about it again. It's like trying to get taller by hanging upside down, it never works!

Puke-O-Meter :

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, I'm done. (: & I'm proud of it! (: Haha. 3 more days.

Literature Festival 2008.

I am sooooooooooooo happy!

yep, my life is so colourful and full of happiness now. Literature Festival was such a blast today!

It was fun, Fun, wait for the last one ... FUN!

although all of us were a little nervous at the beginning, but we didn't mess up and not only that, we manage to win the debate against the Saint Patrick's. Although the other team didn't win against Bedok Green, overall we are all winners. Even the lower secondary students took the first place in the book trailer! Congratulations to all who've put in their effort and did their best! :D anyway after reading everything I was sitting down looking at the final speaker from St Patricks and you know what the guy did ?

any idea ?

He raised his brows and let out a very freaky smile, almost the same as those of a potential rapist. Not to say he's homosexual, but I think he was trying to hit me down so that I would be terrified and haunted by his *shudders* demented smile and will not perform that well when saying my speech.

Know what I'll say to him if he does that again?

"I have a brother. You have to do way better than that."

anyway after that we were assembled at the hall for the prize presentation and as if it was all fated, we sat in front of the St Patrick students. and when the results were announced, we jumped for joy and went to collect the prize. After that we came back and I heard one of the SP's student saying "Give you chance".

Maybe those words may seem harmless, but it actually is the person's masquerade of insult. Let's just make this clear once and for all : YOU didnt gave us a chance. WE fought for the chance. THUS we won it fair and square. Simple?

Okay, enough talk. Pictures rolling !
